Sudan war enters fourth year

The conflict between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces has pushed nearly 30 million people into acute hunger.

A donor conference in Berlin aimed at securing humanitarian aid was slammed by the Sudanese government as an unacceptable interference in internal affairs.

Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has called the situation the greatest humanitarian crisis of the 21st century, pledging a significant increase in British aid.

Despite these efforts, the spirit of the Sudanese people remains resilient as they navigate a landscape of loss and displacement.
