Storm Dave batters the UK
The severe weather system recorded wind gusts of up to 93mph, leading to a series of emergency rescue operations.
In the Lake District, three canoeists were saved after their craft capsized during the storm, while 20 campers in Wales were warned after being nearly cut off by the tide.
Although weather warnings have been lifted, authorities advise the public to remain vigilant as cleanup efforts begin.
The storm has also impacted the Easter holiday travel plans of millions of Britons.
