Tornadoes devastate Oklahoma

A devastating tornado outbreak has struck northern Oklahoma and parts of the Midwest, leaving a trail of destruction and thousands without power.

Hardest hit was the city of Enid, where multiple homes were leveled and at least twelve people were reported injured.

Apocalyptic aerial footage captured from aircraft showed the massive scale of the storms as they swept across the Plains.

Emergency responders are currently engaged in door-to-door search operations, while weather agencies warn of continued severe threats for neighboring states including Indiana and Alabama.
