Southern Poverty Law Center indicted

In a major legal blow to the prominent civil rights organization, the DOJ has announced an 11-count indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The charges include bank and wire fraud, with allegations that the group 'manufactured' evidence of racism to solicit donations.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that the SPLC improperly raised millions of dollars to fund a network of informants within groups like the Ku Klux Klan.

The SPLC has denied the allegations, while conservative critics have hailed the indictment as long overdue.
