Rory McIlroy wins back-to-back Masters

Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy made history on Sunday by becoming the first player since Tiger Woods in 2002 to win back-to-back Masters titles.

Despite a rocky start that included a double-bogey on the fourth hole, McIlroy rallied with key birdies on the back nine to finish at 12-under par.

He finished one stroke ahead of Scottie Scheffler, who mounted a late charge but fell just short.

The emotional win was witnessed by his parents, who missed his triumph at Augusta a year ago.
