Netanyahu claims Hamas leaders eliminated

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asserted that the military is nearing its goal of eliminating all senior leaders responsible for the October 7 attacks.

The announcement follows reports that Ezzedine al-Haddad, a top commander in Hamas' armed wing, was killed in a recent operation.

Netanyahu also claimed that Israeli forces now control 60 percent of the Gaza Strip, despite ongoing international concerns over the humanitarian situation.

Hamas and its allies have responded with fresh threats, while regional tensions remain high following drone strikes in the UAE.
