Russian Strikes Kill 26 in Kyiv Onslaught

Russia launched one of its largest missile and drone attacks on Kyiv, killing at least 26 people and wounding dozens.

The assault came hours before President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was due to travel to the NATO summit in Turkey.

Zelenskyy said Ukraine is running out of interceptor missiles and pleaded for more Patriot air defence systems.

The attack followed another Russian strike days earlier that killed more than 30 people in the Ukrainian capital.
