Ben Stokes returns with wickets

England Test captain Ben Stokes made a successful return to red-ball cricket, taking a wicket with only his eighth delivery for Durham.

Playing against Worcestershire, the all-rounder opened the bowling and finished with two wickets in a rain-shortened day of County Championship action.

Stokes' performance is a major boost for England ahead of their summer Test series.

The skipper appeared fit and sharp in his first competitive outing since the Ashes tour.
