Israel Destroys Hezbollah Tunnel Complex in Lebanon

The Israeli military demolished a 200-metre-long underground tunnel complex in southern Lebanon belonging to Hezbollah, testing the durability of the recently signed trilateral framework agreement between Israel, Lebanon, and the United States.

The strike occurred just days after the accord was finalized, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirming that Washington received advance notice of the operation.

The agreement is already facing significant resistance, as Hezbollah officials have publicly rejected the disarmament plan and declared the framework 'will not be implemented'.

Analysts described the tunnel's destruction as the 'first test' of the fragile peace framework.
