New arrest in Letby probe

The suspect has been released on bail pending further inquiries into allegations of gross negligence manslaughter and administrative failures.

This development follows a series of search warrants executed at the homes of former senior executives.

The investigation aims to determine whether hospital leaders ignored early warnings from consultants about Letby's suspicious behavior, which resulted in the deaths of seven infants.
