Amnesty Warns of Collapsing Global Order
In its latest report, Amnesty's Secretary General Agnès Callamard accused powerful states of waging war on civilians with impunity and destroying international law.
The group highlighted double standards in the response to conflicts in Gaza, Ukraine, and Iran, arguing that most other countries are too 'cowardly' to intervene.
The report also criticized the weakening of multilateral institutions like the United Nations, which it says have failed to protect the most vulnerable.
Amnesty called for a renewed global commitment to human rights and accountability for leaders who violate international norms.
