Darline Graham wins SC Senate runoff

Darline Graham won the Republican primary runoff in South Carolina to fill the Senate seat left vacant by her late brother Lindsey Graham.

The Trump-backed political newcomer defeated Representative Ralph Norman in Tuesday's runoff.

Graham had faced criticism after being stumped by a basic foreign policy question during the campaign.

She will now appear on the general election ballot in November.
