Gunman Killed After Kyiv Massacre

A rare mass shooting has devastated the Ukrainian capital, leaving six dead and at least 14 others hospitalized, including children.

The assailant, identified as a 58-year-old Moscow-born man, opened fire on civilians in the Holosiivskyi district before barricading himself inside a grocery store.

Ukrainian authorities are currently investigating the incident as a potential act of terror, examining possible links to Russian intelligence.

President Zelenskyy offered condolences to the victims' families and praised the rapid response of the security forces who stormed the building after negotiations failed.
