The foul resulted in a back injury for Adebayo, forcing him out of the game.

The league stated that Ball should have been ejected for the flagrant foul, which created a significant injury risk.

Ball has since apologized for his role in the injury, claiming he was disoriented after being hit in the head earlier in the match.
