Anti-ICE Protesters Sentenced to Decades in Prison

A group of anti-ICE protesters convicted of terrorism for a violent demonstration at a Texas detention center have been sentenced to between 30 and 100 years in prison.

The penalties far exceed those given to January 6 rioters.

The sentences have drawn sharp criticism from civil liberties groups who argue the punishments are disproportionately harsh.
