Russian Artist Who Satirised Putin Shot Dead in Poland

A Russian artist known for his provocative and satirical caricatures of President Vladimir Putin was shot dead at close range in eastern Poland.

Polish authorities identified the victim as Semyon Skrepetsky, also known by his pseudonym Robert Kuzovkov, who was killed with five shots, including one to the head.

Two Belarusian nationals have been arrested in connection with the execution-style murder.

The killing has drawn international attention as a potential politically motivated assassination, though the Kremlin has denied any involvement.
