Apple sets Sept. 9 event for foldable iPhone

Apple has scheduled its next major product launch for September 9, where it is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone and the iPhone 18 Pro.

The event, tagged 'Surprise and Shine,' will be the first under new CEO John Ternus.

However, a CNET survey found that 75% of U.S. adults aren't interested in a foldable Apple device.

Anticipation is still building for the annual iPhone launch event.
