Eight Indicted in White House UFC Plot

The eight defendants were charged with conspiring to use explosive-laden drones and sniper fire to attack the UFC event on the White House grounds last month.

According to the indictment, the plot began in May when the group began acquiring weapons, explosives, and communications equipment.

The defendants allegedly planned to target President Trump, Vice President Vance, and other senior officials, with one telling investigators they intended to shoot fleeing crowd members.

The foiled plot has led to heightened security around the White House.
