Buffett Halts Gates Foundation Donations

Warren Buffett has stopped his annual donations to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, directing nearly $6 billion to family-linked charities instead, after revelations of the foundation’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

The move ends a two-decade giving tradition and follows an outside legal review of the charity’s connections to the convicted sex offender.

Buffett, 95, announced a new round of donations of Berkshire Hathaway stock but left the Gates Foundation off the list for the first time.
