Trump Signs Iran Peace Deal at Versailles

President Donald Trump signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran to end the war, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and begin 60-day nuclear talks.

The agreement drew immediate fire from allies and lawmakers who called it a strategic defeat.

IranҀ™s supreme leader said Trump signed it out of desperation, while Vice President JD Vance defended the deal and criticized Israeli cabinet members for attacking it.

The US-Iran talks set for Friday in Switzerland were abruptly cancelled as Vance delayed his trip.
