Mark Warner's daughter dies

The passing of Madison Warner has prompted an outpouring of sympathy for the veteran Democratic lawmaker and his family.

Madison had struggled with juvenile diabetes and other health issues for most of her life, a challenge the senator has frequently referenced in his advocacy for healthcare reform.

In a joint statement, the family remembered her as filling their lives with love and light.
