Ukraine hits Russian oil pumping station

Ukraine has escalated its campaign against Russian energy infrastructure with a successful drone strike on an oil pumping station in the Perm region, hundreds of miles from the frontline.

The attack caused a massive blaze and significant damage to the facility, which is a critical node in Russia's domestic energy network.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that targeting Russia's economic lifeline is a necessary response to ongoing strikes on Ukrainian cities.

In a separate operation, Ukrainian naval drones reportedly hit a sanctioned Russian tanker near the port of Tuapse in the Black Sea.
