Pope Leo XIV Africa tour
Tens of thousands of faithful gathered in the city of Saurimo to hear the American-born Pope's message of peace and social justice.
Leo blasted the 'chains of corruption' that have held parts of the continent hostage for centuries, marking some of his most political sermons to date.
The trip comes amid an ongoing public feud between the Pope and President Trump over the war in Iran.
Africa remains the fastest-growing region for the Catholic Church, with nearly 300 million believers as of 2024.
