Burnham defends past Trump remarks

Andy Burnham has defended his past critical remarks about Donald Trump, saying he "said things as well" in response to questions about his previous comments.

The Greater Manchester Mayor had earlier branded US politics "poisonous" and suggested a Trump visit to Manchester would "go against the values that people here stand for." Burnham now says he believes he will find common ground with Trump.
