Iran evaluates US peace framework

Tehran is currently reviewing a 14-point memorandum of understanding proposed by the Trump administration to establish a 30-day framework for ending the war.

While President Trump expressed optimism that a deal is imminent, he simultaneously threatened a new wave of bombing should the regime reject the proposed terms.

The proposal aims to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, though senior Iranian officials have already dismissed portions of the plan as an unrealistic "wish list." Mediators from Pakistan are facilitating the exchange as both nations navigate maximalist demands and domestic political pressure.
