Orlando Pirates win league title

Orlando Pirates have clinched their first South African league title in 14 years after a bizarre 2-0 victory over Orbit College.

Two own goals from the opposition handed the Buccaneers the win they needed to dethrone Mamelodi Sundowns and secure a sensational domestic treble.

Captain Nkosinathi Sibisi dedicated the victory to the club's loyal supporters, known as "The Ghost," following the historic achievement at Mbombela Stadium.

The win marks a significant shift in the balance of power in South African football after years of Sundowns' dominance.
