Stonewall Pride flag restored

The Trump administration has agreed to restore the Pride flag at the Stonewall National Monument in New York City following a legal challenge.

The administration had previously ordered the removal of the rainbow flag, drawing intense backlash from the LGBTQ+ community.

A court settlement reached on Monday ensures that the flag will continue to fly at the historic site, which commemorates the struggle for gay rights.

Local activists and politicians hailed the decision as a victory for representation and equality.
