London Synagogues Targeted by Arson

Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis has condemned what he describes as a 'sustained campaign of violence and intimidation' against the UK's Jewish community.

Police are focusing on a shadowy Islamic group that has claimed responsibility for multiple attacks across Europe targeting Israeli and Jewish premises.

While no injuries have been reported, the frequency of the incidents—three in less than a week—has led to increased security at religious sites throughout the capital.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Vicki Evans questioned the motives behind the attacks, asking if the risks taken by perpetrators are worth the potential rewards.
