Péter Magyar nominates Hungarian cabinet
In a swift move to reset Hungary's political direction, Péter Magyar has introduced a 16-portfolio cabinet featuring a mix of experienced technocrats and fresh political voices.
Magyar affirmed that his administration will abide by International Criminal Court obligations, a sharp departure from his predecessor's stance on global legal bodies.
The new government faces the immediate task of unblocking billions in EU funds that were frozen under the previous regime.
Magyar also called on Ukraine to restart oil flows through the Druzhba pipeline to ensure regional energy security.
