House Votes to End Iran War

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution on Thursday directing President Trump to withdraw forces from hostilities against Iran without congressional authorization, with four Republicans joining Democrats in a bipartisan rebuke of the war.

Hours later, the Senate blocked a parallel measure, underscoring the deep divisions in Congress over the conflict.

The votes came as Trump told Axios he was considering a 'massive attack' on Iran 'bigger than ever before' and as the Pentagon abruptly removed four Iran war troop deaths from its public casualties website.

The war has now cost nearly $110 billion, and a Fox News poll found 56% of voters oppose the military action.
