England Beat India in ODI Series After Duckett Century

England posted a record Lord’s ODI total of 387 for three, powered by Ben Duckett’s 141 off 113 balls, and then held off a spirited Indian chase to win by 27 runs and take the three-match series 2-1.

Rohit Sharma hit a searing century, but India fell short at 360 for seven, with Sam Curran’s late wickets proving decisive.

The victory marks England’s first bilateral ODI series win over India since 2018 and was built on an opening stand of 200 between Duckett and Jacob Bethell.

The match was played on the day Lord’s paid tribute to the late West Indies legend Sir Garfield Sobers.
