Trump Extends Iran Ceasefire Indefinitely

President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that the United States will prolong its ceasefire with Iran beyond the original Wednesday deadline.

While the truce remains in place to facilitate diplomatic efforts in Islamabad, the administration confirmed that a naval blockade of Iranian ports will continue.

Trump described the Iranian regime as 'seriously fractured' and warned that the U.S. military remains ready to resume operations if negotiations fail.

The move has delayed a planned trip by Vice President JD Vance to Pakistan as the White House awaits a formal response from Tehran.
