Hooker himself fell overboard and injured his knee while in police custody during a search of the couple's sailboat.
A new recording has emerged of Brian Hooker describing the night his wife vanished in what he called 'choppy and dangerous' sea conditions.
The couple had a history of domestic contention, with a 2015 police report revealing Lynette had previously been arrested for striking her husband.
The investigation is currently focused on the possibility that Brian caused harm resulting in his wife's death.
