Artemis II Crew Returns Home

After splashing down in the Pacific Ocean, the crew of Artemis II returned to NASA's Johnson Space Center to celebrate the first human flight beyond low Earth orbit in over 50 years.

The mission tested the Orion spacecraft's capabilities and set new records for deep-space travel by a crewed vessel.

Astronauts Christina Koch, Victor Glover, and Jeremy Hansen joined Wiseman in expressing profound gratitude for the global support and the beauty of the home planet.

The successful conclusion of this flight paves the way for future lunar surface landings as part of the broader Artemis program.
