U.S.-Iran Peace Talks Collapse

U.S.-Iran Peace Talks Collapse

After 21 hours of intense face-to-face diplomacy in Pakistan, negotiators from Washington and Tehran failed to reach a resolution to the six-week war.

The U.S. delegation, led by JD Vance, expressed disappointment, stating that Iran's unyielding position on uranium enrichment was the primary obstacle.

Iranian officials countered by accusing the U.S. of failing to earn their trust and attempting to dictate terms rather than negotiate.

The collapse of the talks has heightened fears that active hostilities will resume once the current truce expires.
