Eight Dead in B-52 Crash at Edwards AFB

A US Air Force B-52 Stratofortress crashed during a test flight at Edwards Air Force Base in California, killing all eight people on board.

Flight tracking data showed the bomber made a sharp turn and descended rapidly before impact, slamming into the ground about halfway down the runway.

The aircraft was in the air for a very short time before the crash.

The wife of one of the engineers killed has spoken publicly about the tragedy.
