Rudy Giuliani released from ICU

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has been transferred out of intensive care as he continues his recovery from severe pneumonia.

His representatives stated that while his condition is improving, he will remain in the hospital to receive ongoing treatment for restrictive airway disease.

The 81-year-old was admitted to the hospital in early May, prompting an outpouring of support from his family and supporters.

In a separate development, Giuliani's legal team is reportedly seeking coverage through the World Trade Center Health Program to help manage his mounting medical expenses.
