Pentagon Unveils $1.5 Trillion Budget

The budget request earmarks $750 billion for 'presidential priorities,' including the Golden Dome missile defense system and advanced autonomous warfare technology.

Officials confirmed that the U.S. military used nearly half of its Patriot missile stockpile during the seven-week strike campaign against Iran.

The proposal also includes a 42% increase in funding for the defense industrial base to address supply chain vulnerabilities.

Congress is expected to scrutinize the massive spending plan, which does not yet include the full costs of the ongoing Middle East conflict.
