Ukraine Strikes Russian Oil Facilities

Kyiv has intensified its campaign against Russia's energy infrastructure, launching a massive drone assault that struck refineries in the Volga river region and the Port of Vysotsk.

Local governors confirmed that a fire broke out at an oil terminal near St. Petersburg, while port operations were temporarily suspended.

Simultaneously, Russian forces launched a retaliatory strike with over 200 drones against Ukrainian port and power facilities, causing blackouts for hundreds of thousands of consumers.

President Zelenskyy has warned that Moscow is also attempting to draw Belarus back into the conflict as military infrastructure is expanded along the northern border.
