Pepsi drops Wireless Festival
The controversy surrounding Kanye West's scheduled three-night headline slot at the Wireless Festival has led to a major corporate exodus.
PepsiCo announced it is ending its decade-plus partnership with the event, citing concerns over the rapper's history of antisemitic outbursts and praise for Nazism.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer joined the backlash, stating that antisemitism is 'abhorrent' and questioning the appropriateness of the booking.
Other sponsors, including Diageo, have reportedly followed suit as pressure mounts on festival organizers to pull the artist.
