Artemis II crew returns home

Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen were greeted by cheering crowds and family members at Ellington Field.

The crew reflected on their record-breaking voyage, which covered nearly 700,000 miles and provided vital data for the upcoming Artemis III lunar landing.

NASA officials hailed the mission as a 'moment of happiness and peace' for the planet.

The agency is now shifting its focus to the next phase of the program, set to launch in 2027.
