Two RCMP Officers Shot in Saskatchewan Standoff

Two Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers were seriously injured after being shot during an armed standoff at a home in Melville, Saskatchewan, on Sunday night.

One suspect was arrested following the incident.

The officers were responding to an assault call when they were shot upon approaching the residence.

Both officers are now in stable condition, according to RCMP officials.
