Paraglider Survives Mid-Air Plane Collision

A 44-year-old woman, identified only as Sabrina, survived a horrific mid-air collision while paragliding over the Salzburg region of Austria.

A sightseeing aircraft's propeller ripped through her canopy at several thousand feet, causing her to lose control instantly.

Miraculously, she managed to deploy her reserve parachute and landed with only minor injuries.

The entire incident was captured on video and has since gone viral, highlighting the extreme dangers of shared airspace in popular Alpine gliding locations.
