Mike Vrabel seeking counseling

The New England Patriots have issued a statement of support for Mike Vrabel as he takes a leave of absence for personal counseling.

The move comes after Page Six published images of Vrabel and former Athletic reporter Dianna Russini together at an Arizona resort.

Russini has since resigned from her position, and the NFL has stated it will not investigate the matter.

The controversy has become a major distraction for the franchise just as the 2026 NFL Draft gets underway in Pittsburgh.
