Bodies found off Brighton beach

Sussex Police have confirmed that the three women whose bodies were recovered from the sea off Brighton beach have been identified as relatives from London.

The tragedy occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning after emergency services responded to reports of a woman struggling in choppy waters near the Brighton Marina.

Investigators believe the victims, aged between 20 and 30, may have misjudged a steep drop in the seabed while paddling after a night out.

While the investigation into the circumstances of their deaths is ongoing, police have stated there is currently no evidence of third-party involvement or criminality.
