Diddy's Defamation Suit Dismissed
Judge Phaedra F. Perry-Bond ruled that the case lacked legal merit, finding that the claims made in 'Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy' were protected under free speech laws.
Combs, who is currently incarcerated awaiting trial on unrelated criminal charges, had alleged the documentary contained false information about his past.
This legal defeat is the latest in a series of setbacks for the Bad Boy Records founder as his business empire faces increasing pressure.
Attorneys for NBCUniversal praised the decision, stating that the documentary was a thorough and accurate piece of investigative journalism.
