Jeffrey Donaldson Sex Abuse Trial

The high-profile trial of former Democratic Unionist Party leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has begun at Newry Crown Court, where he faces 18 counts of historical sexual offenses.

Prosecutors detailed allegations from two women who claim they were subjected to 'difficult and traumatic incidents' as children during the 1980s and 90s.

Sir Jeffrey has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including one count of rape and multiple counts of indecent assault.
