Ryanair Warns of Summer Travel Chaos

The budget carrier, which serves over 200 million passengers annually, stated that check-in desks will close 20 minutes earlier to help travelers clear increasingly long security and passport queues.

Concerns are mounting that the new border rules, combined with ongoing jet fuel shortages, will lead to significant disruption during the peak summer season.

Ryanair has specifically identified Malta as a destination at risk of flight redirections if check-in delays persist.

The airline is currently rolling out additional self-service kiosks at 95% of its operational airports to streamline the process for passengers.
