Ukraine Reopens Druzhba Oil Pipeline
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the completion of repairs, stating there are now 'no grounds' for member states to block the critical loan.
The pipeline had been out of service since January following strikes that caused significant damage to its infrastructure.
Resuming the flow of Russian crude puts Kyiv in a complex diplomatic position as it simultaneously calls for tighter energy sanctions on Moscow.
European diplomats are meeting in Cyprus this week to finalize the aid agreement.
