Eight Dead in B-52 Crash at Edwards AFB

A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress crashed shortly after takeoff at Edwards Air Force Base in California on Monday, killing all eight crew members on board.

The aircraft was on a routine test mission when it went down and burst into flames, with military officials describing the crash as 'unsurvivable'.

The first victim was identified by friends and family as officials continued working to release the names of the remaining crew.
